This is what I’m shooting for. Fit, but still soft and feminine. I don’t need abs so hard you can see veins (eew). I also like my hips, they need to stick around.

Yes but not big enough.
Muscle soreness is a bad indication of a good excercise though. Exercises with a hard eccentric component in will make you a lot stiffer.
Doing a lot of slow negatives will make you REALLY stiff.

Ladies, don’t be afraid of weight training.
Let me put it this way, you can’t be “toned” if you don’t have any muscle.
You will not look like a man. You will never look like a man, and you will never look like those female bodybuilders unless you inject testosterone.
Weight training should be a part of any exercise program, men or women.
Dear genie, for my third and final wish I’ll take body #4 and a new wardrobe to match.
Looks similar to what we used to do when I was in high school, both in Tae Kwon Do and JROTC, with a bar across the shoulders instead of the dumbbells at the waist.
Not sure if it is “safer” or not…I’ll defer to people who know what they are doing. But I did find that I had better posture with that exercise using the bar than I did with the free weights at my waist.
Also a fan of pull ups while wearing a flak jacket although I haven’t done those in >15 years.
Oh man, doing ANYTHING in a flak jacket blows. We once played volleyball in flak jacket and MOPP gear in the middle of freaking summer. It was awful, lol.
I tried doing them with the Smith machine bar, and felt really uncomfortable. Just sticking with the dumbells, they feel a lot better to me.
the first girl is great. the ssecond i’d make a total mess on her tummy, the 3rd and 4th are tad too ripped for my taste.
now let’s get back to that aching ass. daddy’s got a semi. lol.
I Like the 2nd and 4th because both are showing a feminine figure and not much of masculinity but the other that is 1st and 3rd are not “Eye Candy” they are sore to man eyes, because the first is a of a women who looks like more of a man but with the locks of hair passes as a woman, and the 3rd OH MY GOD no! i won’t let her near my bed because she might feel that she has more strength than me with that said and done, i am not intimidate by these two because being a masculine build i would fuck them but won’t waste my time to have a date with them.
The differences in the guys opinions here is interesting.
I don’t think the first one looks masculine at all. The only thing really overly masculine about the 3rd is her pose, if she were posing like #4 or some other slightly girls pose, I think there would be less harsh opinions.
I’ll admit that my thought on all four is “Miss Scarlet, you done birthed a baby. You aint never gonna be no eightteen inches no more.” After 5 pregnancies, I can’t place my ideal of fit as that of young women in their twenties.
But then, Flambeaux’s ideal female figure is Boticelli’s The Birth of Venus, so I think my fitness goals are not out of reach.

I know I’ll never get there completely…. I ain’t 20 no more, and even at my fittest, I’ve got hips for days.
But there are definitely bits that can be tightened up. Good reminder though, I need to keep a lookout for similar-age photos. I’m sure there’s some 30 somethings that have got similar physiques, just not on the tumblrs I was looking at

I’d probably go for #4 the most, the a tie for 1 & 3 and finally #2. I really think #2′s ass is too big.. apparently big booty I’d the in thing nowadays?

Hopefully you created a “dream board” or “wishlist” with these pictures. I read that if you wake up every morning looking at what you desire,and envision you being / receiving that, then you will achieve it. I have so many pictures of women that are tone, strong, but still retain the feminine curves (I love my hourglass figure, and am planning on keeping it, thank you). I love lifting weights, and envision a stronger and leaner me.
